$400,000 Settlement – Motor Vehicle Accident

Settlement for family of a man who was killed in a motor vehicle accident in Palm Beach County. The client’s father drove into the back of a boat that was being trailered without taillights. The accident occurred just before sunrise and there were no streetlights in the vicinity. The insurance company for the driver of the vehicle towing the boat denied liability and suit had to be filed. The parties agreed to a summary trial procedure and the jury found the boat owner 100% at fault. The parties settled the case shortly after the summary trial.
