Riviera Beach, FL Fatal I-95 Chain-Reaction Crash Under Investigation

Riviera Beach, FL (August 5, 2026) – Authorities are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that occurred late Sunday night on Interstate 95 in Riviera Beach.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 11:20 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Mile Marker 75.

Investigators reported that a silver 2015 Cadillac ATS was stopped in the outside center lane of the interstate when a black 2013 BMW 328i traveling behind it was unable to avoid a collision and struck the rear of the Cadillac. Moments later, a gray 2015 Nissan Rogue traveling behind the BMW also collided with the Cadillac, resulting in a chain-reaction crash.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional information regarding other injuries has been released. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
